   D.M. Cornish has worked as a freelance illustrator, an animator on a TV show and a designer. He spent many years mapping and illustrating the world depicted in Tales from the Half-Continent, the setting for these stories and for the story of Rossamünd, which was told in the three volumes of the award-winning Monster Blood Tattoo trilogy.
